Legal services

Community legal services, legal aid and tenant protection organizations can help fight eviction notices. They also can help with problems that involve receiving services or financial issues.

For information about legal problems and links to community legal clinics, see:

Mental health court support services

Mental health court support services—in consultation with the court—divert people with serious mental illness from the criminal justice system to mental health and community support services. They also help people who don't qualify for diversion to find support (e.g., they help arrange bail).
