HSRCU Fellowship Program

Past Participants

The Health Systems Research and Consulting Unit in the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health sponsors a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Health Services Research and Program Evaluation. This position provides highly motivated PhD and MD graduates the opportunity for mentored training and collaboration with a dynamic multidisciplinary team of researchers engaged in studies of addictions and mental health services delivery, access, and quality. There is a strong emphasis on knowledge exchange with all stakeholder groups (including policy makers, providers, and consumers). The team is led by Paula Goering who holds a Canadian Health Services Research Foundation Chair in Health Services Research. Funding is for up to 2 years.


Application Process

  • To apply, a candidate must complete the following:
    1. A 2-page essay explaining his/her interest in addiction and mental health services research/policy;
    2. A letter of application;
    3. A C.V.;
    4. A list of 3 references who are familiar with the student's work; and
    5. An interview by relevant Unit faculty.
