Online Self-directed Tutorials
The Mental Health and Addiction 101 series consists of a variety of quick, easy to use online tutorials for anyone who wants to learn more about mental health and addiction
topics. This series includes tutorials such as: Introduction to Addiction, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Depression,
Older Adults, Posttraumatic Stress Disorders, Schizophrenia, Stages of Change, Stigma and more.

Safe Baby Webinar Series
CAMH is pleased to offer another webinar series on Exposure to Psychotropic Medications and other Substances During Pregnancy and Lactation starting November 3, 2008.
This series is for primary care physicians, psychiatrists, pharmacists, obstetricians, midwives, public health nurses, nurse
practitioners and therapists/counsellors who provide advice, information and care to women who are taking psychotropic medications
or other substances during pregnancy and postpartum.

Online Courses
CAMH offers facilitator-led online courses, which you can participate in from any computer with Internet access. People with
all levels of computer expertise can take these courses – the technology is user–friendly and easy to master, and support
is available if you need it.
The courses run for approximately eight weeks, and they require a minimum time commitment of four hours per week. They provide a collaborative
learning environment, where you will read through course content and engage in group discussions with other learners, guided
by an experienced team of two or more online facilitators who are experts in their fields. All of our courses are approved
for Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation continuing education credit hours (CACCF CEC Hours).

Legal Issues in Mental Health Care in Ontario Online course Pilot, Fall 2008
Participants needed
Education Services at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is looking for broad spectrum of mental health and addiction
health care practitioners including clinicians, physicians, nurses, social workers, front line addiction and mental health
staff and volunteers who are interested in participating in the online course Legal Issues in Mental Health Care in Ontario.
You must be available to spend three to four hours per week for a total of seven weeks, starting on October 27, and ending
on December 12, 2008. If you are interested in participating in this online course, please complete this form in its entirety and return it to CAMH.

The feel for each online course is $300, except for Methadone Maintenance Treatment, which is $450 for physicians and $350
for pharmacists and counsellors.
