CAMH Research Report 2008-2009

How do you measure a year? For the Research program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, one of our most important measures in 2008–2009 is impact, based on how CAMH is making a difference in peoples’ lives.

The breadth and depth of our research into mental illness and addiction enables CAMH to help create positive change on many levels. The very scope of CAMH’s Research program—the most comprehensive of any mental health facility in Canada—means that our clinicians can offer clients a range of treatments and approaches. Similarly, research expands both the knowledge base and the toolkits of all our helping professionals.
