WORK AND WELL-BEING RESEARCH AND EVALUATION PROGRAM
Summer Research Practicum 2009

The goal of the Work and Well-being Research and Evaluation Program Research Practicum is to provide work and research experience to graduate students who have an interest in the contribution of work and the workplace to the quality of life.

This year, the research practicum will focus on topics related to vocational rehabilitation and the experiences of people who are returning to work following a disability related to mental health problems. Projects will be designed to enhance research skills in qualitative methods and literature review. The projects will be done through collaborations with frontline workers and administrators. Through the practicum experience, students will have the opportunity promote knowledge about contemporary issues in research in work and mental health.

Application Process
Applicants are  asked to submit a 2-page letter of intent explaining their interests in this training program, future professional goals and what they can contribute to the program.  A resume, cover letter and references are also required.
