The wall surrounding the Queen Street property is an important part of CAMH’s heritage. The wall was completed in the late
1880s by patients of the so-called "lunatic asylum". Today, the wall serves as a memorial to psychiatric patients who lived
and worked at the old facility. Read more about the wall on page 27.
