Crisis Lines
Most communities have access to 24-hour crisis lines. These numbers can be obtained through the local hospital, family physician
or other mental health service. The crisis lines are not only useful when someone is in crisis but also when a person needs
someone who is neutral and can just listen and provide support. The following web site may also be helpful in locating services
in your community: http://depression.about.com/cs/suicidecrisis/l/blcc20.htm.
