CAMH experts host 'Mind Matters' on CBC Radio
Tune into CBC Radio to hear ‘Mind Matters,’ a pilot radio program hosted by CAMH’s own Dr. David Goldbloom and Dr. Kwame McKenzie
airing on Friday September 4 at 7:30 pm on CBC Radio One (99.1 FM).
Further to CAMH’s ongoing efforts to bring the discussion of all things mental health to Ontarians, Drs. Goldbloom and McKenzie
used their experience in broadcasting to create a unique radio pilot tailored to CBC Radio listeners. Mind Matters will bring
mental health issues to listeners in an entertaining, informative and provocative way.
In the pilot, Dr. Goldbloom examines the fascinating topic of forgiveness in the Canadian historical context of residential
schools, while Dr. McKenzie chats with experts about memory and why we can remember seemingly unimportant things, like who
won the 1956 Stanley Cup, while forgetting our spouse’s birthday. Also, have you ever wondered what your handshake says about
you? For answers to these questions and informative discussions on much more, tune into Mind Matters on Friday September 4
at 7:30 pm on CBC Radio One (99.1 FM).
