Listen and learn: tween-and-teen podcasts launch on CAMH’s Knowledge Exchange portal
Listen up ... lively discussions with mental health and addictions experts on issues affecting tweens and teens are now available
in podcasts on CAMH’s Knowledge Exchange portal.
The Tweens and Teens Series features interviews with experts in adolescent mental health and addictions. The podcasts – short audio interviews posted
online – are hosted by Avrum Nadigel, an adolescent and family therapist for over 15 years and currently in private practice in Toronto. He’s also worked in the
past with CAMH’s Child, Youth and Family Program.
Avrum’s goal in developing the series was to provide parents, teachers and youth professionals with a one-stop-shop to access
information from leaders/experts in mental health and addictions - many of whom would be inaccessible otherwise.
The interview topics were generated by parents, teens and youth professionals and will be useful to parents, youth professionals,
family doctors, guidance counsellors and teachers.
Listeners will be able to propose topics for future episodes as well as engage with other listeners on the Knowledge Exchange portal.
