Research funding available to community partners
Ontario community mental health and addictions agencies may be eligible for research funding from CAMH. The Community Research Capacity Enhancement Program (CRCEP) enhances CAMH’s research interactions with community partners to help build research capacity among organizations addressing
addiction and mental health issues. Each year, CAMH supports up to three grants with maximum funding of $10,000 for a single
project. Funding goes to projects that are dedicated to issues that build relationships and capacity in diversity. Some examples
of funded CAMH partnership projects include Understanding the Context of Bisexual Mental Health, with Sherbourne Health Centre
and the First Nations Drug Use Survey, with the Northwestern Health Unit in Kenora.
