Dr. McKenzie is a Senior Scientist within CAMH’s Social Equity and Health Research section and the Deputy Director of Continuing
& Community Care in the Schizophrenia Program.
“TVO’s the Agenda is devoting a whole week to Diversity. TVO invited me to participate in the series because they wanted to
have a fresh eye: I am new to Toronto and have an outsider’s view—I’m both an insider and an outsider,” says Dr. McKenzie.
“Mental health is not just about psychiatry, but the ways we live in society. I am interested in how we develop communities
and cities to keep people well and help people flourish.”
“Encounters With the Other” runs July 12-16.
