CAMH launches official Facebook page

CAMH’s first foray into social networking begins with a recently launched official Facebook page. It’s another way for CAMH to provide news and resources information to our stakeholders and to help reach more people, promote interactivity, feedback and connection. In short, to start a conversation with our many audiences.

Millions of registered users rely on Facebook to keep in touch with friends and use it as a portal to web content. CAMH Public Affairs developed the page to provide information and a forum for people interested in mental health and addictions issues and what’s going on at CAMH.

The page is updated regularly by Public Affairs with news of events and resources available online. Staff, clients, families, and other CAMH community members are welcome and encouraged to ‘join the conversation,’ according to Robin Rowe, Director, Public Affairs.

“We encourage you to check it out and become a ‘fan’ (you will need to have an active Facebook account),” Robin says. “You can do so by accessing CAMH’s Official Facebook Page at the link below and clicking the ‘Become a fan’ link.”
