Transforming Lives Awards 2008

The CAMH Transforming Lives Awards is an exciting new fundraising event that honours extraordinary people who have either overcome the challenges of living with mental illness and addiction and use their experiences to help others, or they have contributed to mental health and addiction care through science, advocacy or patronage. Among the seven recipients being honoured at the inaugural event on May 8th is former Senator Michael Kirby, Chair of the Mental Heath Commission of Canada, who will receive the first ever CAMH Transforming Lives Community Leadership Award.
