The Family Council:
- represents the interests of families at CAMH through participation of families in CAMH governance, committees, work groups and other CAMH groups;
- advocates on behalf of families at CAMH on a systemic level;
- advocates for supports for families at CAMH, and develops and supports information and learning opportunities for families.

 

Annual General meeting guest speaker: Andre Picard, Globe and Mail

Andre Picard is the public health reporter at the Globe and Mail, and is the author of three bestselling books. Mr. Picard has received much acclaim for his writing, including the Michener Award for Public Service Journalism. he is also a five-time nominee for the National Newspaper Award, Canada's top journalism prize.
