2008 Archibald Lecture by Dr. Robert Voas

Dr. Voas is a Senior Research Scientist at the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation. He has had a long and distinguished career developing, implementing and evaluating research-based polices to address drinking and driving, as well as other traffic safety issues. He is currently engaged in research on appropriate methodologies to collect blood and breath samples in a variety of field research settings (e.g. roadside surveys, border crossings, Rave dances, college campuses). During his lecture, Dr. Voas will consider the implications of these results for theory, policy and intervention programs.
