A web site with postings for volunteer opportunities as well as job openings and organizational information. They also have "virtual volunteering", where someone can do all their volunteer tasks from home.

Web: www.toronto.com. Click on the content word "community" and then under the heading "topics" choose volunteer and charity. That will bring you to a link with literally hundreds of volunteer choices.
