Courage to Come Back Awards Sponsorship and Table Sales

Sponsorship Opportunities

The 14th annual Courage to Come Back Awards Dinner will be held on May 9, 2006 at the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre. This is the signature special event of the CAMH Foundation. During the evening, seven Ontarians who have overcome the challenges of living with mental illness and/or addiction will be presented with Courage to Come Back Awards. Close to 1,000 people attend the event each year, which consistently sells out well in advance. Prior to the awards dinner, an extensive public awareness campaign draws nominations from across the province from which the seven recipients are selected.

Why become a Sponsor

  • Sponsorship is an excellent opportunity for a company or corporation to align itself directly with the positive role models that the Courage to Come Back Awards recipients represent. Overcoming severe challenges posed by mental illness and/or addictions, the award recipients demonstrate hope for all of us.
  • The event has tremendous positive image value to offer a sponsor. Sponsorship of the Courage to Come Back awards can provide your company with important profile opportunities:
  • As an employer, mental health may affect up to 20% of your companies employees during their lifetime
  • As a unique opportunity to assist with increased awareness and reduced stigma for what Health Canada estimates is a $21.9 billion a year burden
  • To demonstrate commitment as a community leader by supporting a unique community event
