Volunteers provide invaluable contributions to CAMH through their involvement in clinical care, research and special events.  Volunteer Resources provides opportunities for volunteers to expand their awareness and knowledge of mental health and addictions issues.  Our volunteer force reflects the diversity of our community and draws on a wide range of skills and backgrounds.

Our volunteer opportunities support CAMH’s client centered philosophy of care by addressing each client’s social, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Whether this is by working directly or indirectly with clients, volunteer positions promote a healthy environment for clients and volunteers alike.

To provide volunteer resources that augments existing programs throughout CAMH and help to fill service gaps so that we may enhance and enrich the quality of life for CAMH clients.

CAMH Corporate Volunteer Program

At CAMH we strive to work closely with corporations to create a culture of care and community through hands on involvement. Our Corporate volunteer program is designed to encourage employee volunteering, improving teamwork, collaboration between staff and leadership skills. Learn more about the program.
