Who we are
Our staff are professional therapists with specialized training in the treatment of problem gambling. Our service is a program of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Who we serve
Our services are available to anyone in the Toronto area who has concerns about their own or someone else’s gambling. Educational sessions on problem gambling treatment and prevention are available for professional or community groups.
We offer
- Free, confidential service
- Individual and group sessions for individuals who gamble
- Individual and group sessions for family members, with or without the individual who gambles
- Couple and family counselling
- Telephone counselling
- Client-directed goal setting
- Specialization in the areas of youth, women, older adults, and ethno-cultural communities
- Service in English, French, Finnish, Farsi, and through relationships with community agencies, referrals to many others.
- Gay and Lesbian counsellors on request
- Referrals to additional services as available.
