How to find help

If you or someone you know needs help dealing with mental health or addiction issues, CAMH may be able to provide the needed information, treatment or support.


Crisis and Emergency Information

  • Visit your local emergency department or call 911
  • Contact a nurse at Telehealth Ontario by dialing 1-866-797-0000.
  • Distress or crisis phone lines operated by various agencies are open 24 hours a day if you need to talk to someone.


Programs at CAMH

CAMH specializes in complex cases. Talk to your family doctor about what services are right for you.

  • For information or support for a mental health or addiction concern, call (416) 595-6111 (within Toronto) or 1-800-463-6273 (toll free).

  • Treatment Programs available at CAMH include: assessment, brief early interventions, inpatient programs, continuing care, outpatient services and family support.
