Income Supports: Income Security Program

There are two income programs administered through the federal government. These programs are the Old Age Security Program and the Canada Pension Plan.

Old Age Security Program

• Old Age Security Pension (OAS)
• Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS)
• Allowance
• Allowance for the Survivor

Canada Pension Plan

• Retirement Pension (CPP)
• Disability Benefit (CPP-D)
  • Disabled Contributor Child's Benefit
• Survivor Benefits
  • Death Benefit
  • Survivor's Benefit
  • Surviving Child's Benefit
