Types of Housing: Boarding Homes

Boarding homes provide room and board. In these homes, residents usually share rooms. Many of these homes are staffed 24 hours a day. Typically, all meals and housekeeping services are provided to the tenants.

CAMH clients that live in boarding homes, typically live in homes that are monitored by Habitat Services or Homes for Special Care.

For more details about boarding homes available in Toronto, please see the Housing Guide created by the Community Support and Research Unit in collaboration with Education and Publishing.
