Members of CRPET primarily conduct externally funded applied research projects. CRPET also delivers training in program planning
and evaluation research, provides applied research consulting services (such as needs assessments, feasibility studies, program
reviews, etc.), presents at workshops and scholarly conferences, and publishes in journals and books.
CRPET works with a number of internal and external individuals and agencies at local, provincial and national levels to foster
innovative, collaborative and policy-relevant research projects. Partnerships have been formed with various community-based
organizations such as Street Health to ensure a strong link between research and practice and a heightened sensitivity to the needs of such organizations in
supporting persons with mental health and substance use concerns to live full and complete lives in the community.
