CAMH Information and Privacy Office

CAMH places a high value on the privacy, confidentiality, and security of our clients’ personal health information, and we have privacy practices in place to ensure that clients’ personal information is protected.

The CAMH Privacy Office provides privacy support to our clients in a variety of ways. For example, we welcome individuals to contact the CAMH Privacy Office regarding their privacy questions or concerns. We can provide information about their privacy rights and how their personal information is protected at CAMH. The Privacy Office also ensures that CAMH complies with Ontario’s privacy legislation, the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA).

We encourage our clients to speak with their clinicians regarding their privacy concerns and questions. However, clients can also contact the CAMH Privacy Office directly at:
