CAMH proudly offers a community-based presence providing health promotion and prevention services across the Province of Ontario,
largely through the efforts of its Policy Education and Health Promotion Division (PEHP). CAMH's main offices are located
in Toronto with a system of ten local offices throughout Ontario [Windsor, London, Hamilton, Kingston, Ottawa, Sudbury, North
Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Thunder Bay and Kenora], along with a number of staff working from home office locations. These staff
are distributed across six 'Provincial Areas' that fall within the Policy, Education and Health Promotion (PEHP) Division:
Southwestern, West Central, GTA West, Central, Eastern and Northern Ontario Areas.

Through these “Provincial Areas,” CAMH provides health promotion, prevention services, and training across the province. Staff
from Provincial Services help communities identify addiction and mental health needs, develop and disseminate knowledge and
best practice as well as participate in systems planning to support on-going improvement to addiction and mental health services
and systems. Program Consultants are located within these areas and their work is aligned with CAMH’s strategic plan. Health promotion underscores much of this work and as such is supported by a specialized Health Promotion Unit, which provides health promotion expertise at the provincial, national and international level.
The majority of the work falls within the three priority areas: youth, concurrent disorders, and diversity. The following
links provide information about each of the priority areas:
