Other GTA West Area Projects - Knowledge Exchange

In collaboration with other CAMH staff, leads the collection and internal reporting of province-wide intelligence for GTA West and Provincial Services as a whole. Knowledge is used to support our responsiveness to local and provincial developments in addictions, mental health and concurrent disorders service needs.

Authored and co-led the collaborative development and dissemination of Toward an Effectively Integrated Health System in Ontario: Emergency Department Wait-Times, Alternative Level of Care Pressures and Concurrent Mental Health and Substance Use Problems--A Discussion Paper. Several internal and external community and hospital stakeholders were involved in the success of this initiative. Using current emergency room and alternate level of care priorities, this discussion identifies evidence-informed opportunities for transforming the health care system by addressing the needs of people who have concurrent mental health and substance use problems.
