Gary Hoskins - System Planning

Central West LHIN

In the Central West LHIN, Gary is a member of the Central West LHIN Mental Health and Addictions Core Action Workgroup. The group is mandated to assist the Central West LHIN to ensure appropriate system planning for the Central West LHIN mental health and addictions services priority that includes developing local engagement strategies, detailed needs assessments, training for organizations in culturally competent services and comprehensive reporting to the Central West LHIN.

Mississauga/Halton LHIN, Systems Integration Group Mental Health and Addictions

Gary is currently  co-chair of the Systems Integration Group Mental Health and Addictions (SIGMHA) whose membership is comprised of representatives of the Mississauga/Halton LHIN, local mental health and addictions organizations, family members and consumers, and is supported by a project manager assigned by the MH LHIN. Its mandate is to facilitate the evolution of and implementation of the Mississauga/Halton LHIN: Mental health and Addictions detailed Planning and Action Report. SIGMHA has several task groups which all report back to the larger SIGMHA group.
