Susan Lalonde Rankin has been active in the area of health promotion and capacity building for the past 20 years. She started
her career as a Public Health Nurse, then after completing her Master’s of Health Science in Health Promotion at the University
of Toronto, she worked as a Health Promotion Consultant. She also has experience at the provincial level as a Policy Analyst.
Since joining CAMH as a Program Consultant in 1994 she has worked in partnership with community agencies on public awareness
initiatives, training, policy and program development.
Susan has a keen interest in family prevention. She has taken a leadership role in all phases of the Strengthening Families
for the Future program from adaptation, evaluation research, training and implementation. She has presented at various National
and International conferences. Her other interests include organizational change, leadership and knowledge brokering.
