Program Consultant: Kim Baker, Waterloo Wellington

Kim has been or is currently involved in the development, implementation and evaluation of various community training/professional development initiatives. These include:

  • Responding to Older Adults with Substance Use, Mental Health and Gambling Problems
  • Prescription Opioids and Pain Management in Clinical Practice:  Challenges and Strategies
  • Alcohol Risk and Chronic Disease Forum
  • Youth, Drugs and Mental Health
  • Making the Connection Work:  Identification and Support for Older Adults with Mental Health and/or Substance Use Problems
  • Let’s Talk about Stigma

Kim is also able to respond to specific training requests from Waterloo-Wellington addiction and mental health agencies, education, criminal justice, child welfare or other collateral sectors.  Please contact her for more information.
