Alan Cudmore - Local Projects and Interests
Alan Cudmore has been with CAMH’s Provincial Services division since 2001, and has worked mainly in the Hamilton, Niagara,
Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk, Halton, York and Simcoe regions. Since joining CAMH, Alan’s focus has been mainly on developing
Ontario’s specialized Addiction and Mental Health treatment sector from a systems, program and clinical practice perspective.
Alan’s past employment includes working as a clinician in an addiction treatment program, and as a child and youth worker
with the youth justice sector. In addition to his work with CAMH, Alan is working towards a Master’s degree in Adult Education,
and is a part-time professor with Niagara College’s Continuing Education Department.
In addition to system planning and development, Alan’s interests have expanded to include a focus on concurrent disorders,
research and knowledge exchange, and education.
