Anatomy of a CAMH web page

Head of each page:

  • CAMH logo (top left corner of every page). You can also click on it to return to the home page at any time.
  • Français link (top left corner of every English page).  You can click this to go to a French version of the current page.  On every French page, this link will be called English, and it will go to an English version of the current page.
  • Search box. Enter words describing what you are trying to find, and click the 'Search' next to it. CAMH uses Google technology to scan all available CAMH web pages for these words and present the relevant results to you
  • Contact Us.  A simple form that allows you to send e-mail to the CAMH.net web team with any comments, concerns, or suggestions you have about the site.
  • Donate Online. A link to a secure form where donations to help CAMH fulfill its mission can be made easily using your credit card.
  • “Breadcrumb Trail” and ‘Updated”. The 'breadcrumbs'  plainly map out the regular path from the CAMH home page to the page you are currently viewing. You can step back through any of the sections “above” the current page using the links embedded in the breadcrumbs, which are named after the trail of breadcrumbs that Hansel and Gretel (characters in a popular fairy tale) used to find their way back home through the forest.

Main navigation buttons (on the upper left)

  • The website is organised under eleven major headings, reflected in the navigation buttons at the upper left of every page. Use these to go to directly to the main pages of each section.

Centre content

  • The main material that the page is about. This is typically the content that you actually want to read, tell someone about, or print to keep.

Right hand sidebar

  • Not on every page, this is where we present links to other pages related to the current page.
