Mental Health and Metabolism Clinic

The Mental Health and Metabolism Clinic, located at both the Queen Street and the College Street sites of CAMH, provides consultation and assessment for clients with severe mental illness who are experiencing metabolic problem such as weight gain, diabetes and hyperlipidemia. The clinic offers lifestyle interventions and advice around psychotropic medication to minimize metabolic effects.  The clinic is staffed by psychiatrists, nurses, a dietitian and a recreation therapist.
