Interpersonal Therapy Clinic
The Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) Clinic offers clinical services and training, and conducts research based on the principles
and practice of interpersonal psychotherapy. The IPT clinic provides assessments to evaluate suitability for IPT and, where
appropriate, facilitates referral to clinic or community therapists. This brief psychotherapy (12-16 sessions) treats depression as
understood from an interpersonal perspective. The goals of the therapy are to treat depression and improve interpersonal relationships.
The IPT clinic also conducts research to evaluate interpersonal vulnerability factors and to refine understanding of what
is most helpful to clients.
