Rapid Assessment Clinic (RAC)

Rapid Assessment Clinic (RAC): The Rapid Assessment Clinic was developed for clients who do not need emergency psychiatric services but do need to be seen on a more urgent basis. The goal of the clinic is to provide psychiatric assessments to clients 65 years of age or above within 2 weeks of receipt of a completed referral form. Clients age 60 to 64 with mental health and addition issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All patients are assessed by a geriatric psychiatrist or a psychiatrist-in-training under the supervision of a geriatric psychiatrist.
