FOCUS Resource Centre

FOCUS Resource Centre (FRC) supports the training, consultation, networking and information/dissemination needs of FOCUS Community Projects throughout Ontario.

The FOCUS Community Program is an initiative of the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care's, Health Promotion and Wellness Program within the Public Health Branch. The goal of the FOCUS Community Program is to prevent problems, including injuries, associated with alcohol and other drug use. Currently there are 22 FOCUS Communities throughout Ontario.

Referral Required: No. A wide variety of information, resources and direct links related to health promotion, community coalitions, substance abuse and injury prevention are available online through the FRC website http://www.frcentre.net/.
