Public Education

In an effort to reach out to the two-thirds of people who are not receiving support for addiction or mental health problems, the Public Education Program develops and implements a range of services including:

• community information forums -- a series of monthly forums on a range of topics offering a greater understanding of emerging mental health and addiction issues, treatments and healthy living strategies; 
• public awareness campaigns -- media campaigns designed to raise awareness on selected topics; 
• workplace education program -- awareness programs for people at work; 
• school-based education programs -- programs to increase understanding of mental health and/or addiction issues at school;
