CAMH is committed to protecting the privacy of our patient/client's personal health information and places the highest value on maintaining confidentiality.

The Privacy Office is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Personal Health Information Protection Act, 2004 (PHIPA). Our responsibility  is to make sure that all staff, physicians, volunteers and students are informed of their obligations  under PHIPA, to respond to enquiries from the public about CAMH information practices, respond to request for access to or correction of a record of personal health information and to receive complaints from the public about CAMH's compliance with PHIPA or CAMH's Privacy Policy.
