Communications and Community Engagement
The Communications and Community Engagement office has a mandate to work with all parts of the organization to ensure that
services are inclusive and reflect the needs of the many constituencies that CAMH serves. Communications and Community Engagement
programs:
- Public Affairs
Responsible for CAMH's overall corporate communication initiatives which include: media relations, communications planning,
issues management and internal and external communications.
- Diversity Programs office
The mandate of the Diversity Programs Office (DPO) is to coordinate, initiate, encourage and support diversity changes in
CAMH that will result in respectful and inclusive Governance, Human Resources, Service Delivery and Community Partnerships
and Stakeholder Relationships.
- Strategic Planning and Coordination
Strategic Planning and Coordination leads the CAMH Strategic Plan development, monitoring and renewal process as well as responsibilities
related to community engagement as CAMH works with community partners to build and integrated system.
- CAMH Bioethics Service
CAMH’s Bioethics Service is dedicated to client well-being and organizational integrity. The Service provides specialized
help with clinical and organizational ethics questions and concerns.
- Workman Arts Project of Ontario
Founded in 1988, the Workman Arts Project of Ontario (Workman Arts), formerly Workman Theatre Project, is a not-for-profit
professional arts company that promotes a greater understanding of mental illness and addiction through film, theatre, visual
arts, music and literary arts.
