Homes for Special Care (HSC)

  • Provides oversight of operator owned residential homes operating under HSC Guidelines and licensed under the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. The homes provide long term housing with 24-hour support and supervision for people with serious mental illness.
  • Assesses referrals and coordinates placement to the homes.
  • Works in cooperation with external partners to bring positive change to the housing system.
