Community Support and Development Team

The Community Support and Development (CSD) team of the Community Support and Research Unit (CSRU) provides housing assessment and referral services to many clients of CAMH. Clients accessing housing services at CSRU are usually registered clients of CAMH and have a mental illness and/or substance use concern.

The CSD team also focuses on community development.  The team has facilitated the development of, and has helped to maintain, a number of housing partnerships, case management initiatives, and other community partnerships with agencies in the Toronto area. The CSD team administers the Apartment Subsidy Program and has developed a Housing Guide to assist clients and clinicians to find housing in Toronto.

Referral Required: Referral is required, only if the individual is connected to a CAMH program.
