EEG and ECG
Electro-diagnostic services (EEG and ECG) are available to CAMH's inpatients and outpatients. Routine EEGs are preformed to
rule out or diagnose organicity, seizure disorders, encephalopathies or tumors. ECGs assess risk to patients pre-medication
and pre-ECT and diagnose cardiac infarct, conduction blockages, arrhythmias, etc.
Referral Required: Yes. Referral to be made by your treating psychiatrist or physician.
