EEG and ECG

Electro-diagnostic services (EEG and ECG) are available to CAMH's inpatients and outpatients. Routine EEG's are preformed to rule out or diagnose organicity, seizure disorders, encephalopathies or tumors. ECG's assess risk to patients pre-medication and pre-ECT and diagnose cardiac infarct, conduction blockages, arrhythmias etc.

Referral Required: Yes. Referral to be made by your treating psychiatrist or physician.
