Integrative Group Therapy (IGT) clinic
The Integrative Group Therapy (IGT) clinic specializes in delivering group therapy treatment to clients suffering with concurrent
addiction and mental health problems. The goal of the clinic is to address each client's needs as a whole person, by utilizing
a variety of treatment approaches. The clinic consists of several types of groups for different addiction and mental health
needs. Programming is group based and clients are expected to make an initial six month commitment. This clinic will not be
the best match for clients unable to use a group group or unable to commit to this length of time.
The first contact with the clinic staff, which would occur only after the client had completed the general assessment, usually
involves a telephone screen to determine if one of the IGT group treatments is a good match to client needs.
Referral Required: Clients must be seen first in the Intake Assessment service for an general assessment and will then be referred for clinic
specific assessment.
