Call for nominations to the CAMH Board of Trustees 2007
The Board of Trustees of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) invites submissions from individuals who are interested
in being considered for election to fill five vacancies that will exist in June 2007.
Your submission should include the reasons you would like to serve on the Board, an indication of your commitment to, and
knowledge of, the addictions or mental health fields and the skills you would bring to CAMH’s Board. Previous experience on
a volunteer Board would be an asset and reference to that experience should also be included. CAMH is committed to increasing
the diversity of our Board. We particularly encourage applications from the following:
-
- Addictions Service Providers
- Mental Health and/or Addiction Consumers
- Individuals located outside of the GTA (“905”)
- Aboriginal Peoples
The Board’s Governance Committee will review responses and recommend nominees for election by the Constituency Members of
CAMH at the Annual Meeting in June of this year. CAMH is a public hospital with a provincial mandate and the review will include
attention to the need for representation from across the province.
The deadline for receipt of submissions is
March 1, 2007.
Correspondence, including a current CV, should be forwarded to:
