Call for CAMH Constituency Members 2007
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is accepting applications from individuals who are interested in joining
its Constituency Membership. We are currently looking for:
6 Representatives from community mental health/addictions agencies
6 Members-at-Large (including people who work for social service providers, housing agencies, youth and youth-serving organizations,
etc.)
As a Member you will be an integral part of a group of up to 70 individuals who represent the diverse and varied interests
of the constituencies of CAMH - from across the province.
Members have a unique and important relationship with CAMH. As the Members of CAMH, they vote on critical governance issues
at the Annual General Meeting. Our Members provide CAMH with a special vehicle for broad and diverse input. This collective
input is enriched by the variety of viewpoints that are brought to the table. As individuals, Members reflect the experiences
of many of CAMH’s key stakeholders. Members attend two all-day meetings per year, one of which includes our Annual General
Meeting.
In keeping with CAMH’s commitment to diversity, individuals from under-represented groups or communities are encouraged to
